Pope Benedict XVI’s “Resignation” in the Bible, along with Francis the Destroyer

Daniel chapter 9:

25 Know therefore and understand: from the time that the word went out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the time of an anointed prince, there shall be seven weeks; and for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again with streets and moat, but in a troubled time.

26 After the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing, and the troops of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed.

The Holy Bible: New Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition. (1993). (Da 9:25-26). Washington, DC: National Council of Churches of Christ.

The primary interpretation of this Scripture refers to the coming of the Messiah after the Babylonian captivity of the Jews, and the subsequent rebuilding of the destroyed Temple and Jerusalem. The reference to Jerusalem is literal and of course in Old Testament times the center of the church was in Jerusalem, the Temple. The ‘week’ symbolically refers to a period of seven (7) years and the ‘anointed one’ refers to Jesus Christ, the Messiah, and ‘cut off’ means His death. Anyone who has studied Jewish or Christian history knows that the pagan Romans proceeded to literally destroy Jerusalem and the Temple (sanctuary) in 70AD, as well as disperse the Jews, after killing a majority of them, leaving only a remnant. The destroying ‘prince’ was Roman general Titus who became emperor shortly afterwards, The reader can research more history and detailed commentaries on these passages as they wish. This set of literal circumstances also provides a “Biblical type” to help interpret events today, that is the literal occurrences of history provide a blueprint for a symbolic recapitulation in the Latter Days.

So how do these passages apply to the Latter Days? Note that the Bible is not not limited to one interpretation as it contains the Living Word of God which applies not only to the First Coming of Jesus but also the Second Coming, and times in between. You can say the Bible is “polyvalent” and that it has multiple interpretations for the same words, applying in different ways at different times. The Catechism of the Catholic Church also calls this the “senses of Scripture” (see #115 to #119).

Let’s start with ‘an anointed one.’ Originally this refers to Jesus, so logically now it applies to a priest, who is also literally anointed, as well as spiritually, in the sacrament of Holy Orders. This cannot refer to Jesus’ at His Second Coming since He will not be ‘cut off’ when He comes again, rather quite the opposite. It is the Pope who has the highest level of anointing as he is a bishop, the Vicar of Christ, and a successor of the Apostle Peter. When was Pope Benedict, ‘an anointed one,’ ‘cut off?’ At his “resignation” on 11 February 2013. This resignation was forced and not valid. Now Pope Benedict ‘has nothing’ regarding his office as Pope. Going back sixty-two (62) weeks from 2013, this time using one week as one year for symbolic time, you arrive at 1951. Isn’t it interesting that Pope Benedict XVI was ordained a priest on 29 June 1951 (source), sixty-two years prior, and at that time became an ‘anointed one,’ quite literally.

What is the ‘built again’ in a ‘troubled time?’ The stated purpose of Vatican Council II was to ‘build again’ (so to speak) the Church for our modern world, and Pope Benedict XVI was involved in that process even participating as a theological consultant (peritus), back then as merely Fr. Ratzinger, and part of the Curia for many years under St. Pope John Paul II. We do see Vatican II’s failure in a ‘troubled time’ as the faith has catastrophically declined in that time period, especially in the Christian West, but that was also prophesied as the ‘falling away’ or ‘a revolt,’ the great apostasy as described in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 as well as 1 Timothy 4:1. Yes, there are bright spots of Catholic growth, such as in Africa, but overall the Church is a disaster. While the numbers of Catholics are counted in the billions, the number of real Catholics who truly practice their faith is much smaller. In Europe only 2-5% of Catholics generally attend Sunday Mass.

In our day the ‘city and the sanctuary’ is Rome where the Vatican resides, but that is not limited to only a literal meaning. Destruction of the Church, although prevented from being wiped out as Jesus promised the gates of hell will not prevail, doesn’t mean that parts of it are not destroyed at various times in various places, both literally and in the practice of the faith. Just look how Henry VIII and his successors destroyed the Church and left only a tiny remnant in England, with all but one bishop going with the apostate king. Today we see Christianity being eradicated by Islam in certain parts of the Middle East, as also happened in the early days of Islam. The Church overall continues to exist to various degrees in various places. And just as Jerusalem with its Temple, which was the center of the church in Old Testament times, was destroyed for Jewish faithlessness, so too will Rome, the center of the Catholic Church, be destroyed because of the large number of faithless Catholics. The process repeats for the same reasons – lack of faith.

The ‘troops of the prince who … come’ to ‘destroy’ include their leader Francis, an anti-pope invalidly elected (see the many articles on Team Bergoglio), and his modernist cabal, with the likes of Cardinals Kasper, Marx, Maradiaga, et. al. Anyone who has observed with open eyes the Synod process of 2014 and 2015 can attest to those many prelates, both cardinals and bishops, who are pushing to destroy Church teachings on morality and the family by accepting adultery, fornication, contraception, abortion, and sodomy under the guise of being merciful. The devil and his minions have to hide their lies. An excellent report on Synod destruction of the faith by Voice of the Family is here. These modernist heretics have become neo-pagan in their beliefs, that is re-paganized as part of the great apostasy, and thus spiritually are a revived Roman empire (Note: that is true literally also in the European Union, who is the new Babylon). This is all part of the plan for creating the one-world religion, which is a luciferian-based syncretistic neo-paganism with elements of atheistic communism (Liberation Theology), basically the religion of the Freemasons who teach that all religions are just different paths to “god,” their god being the “light-bearer” or “great architect” Lucifer (recall the Matrix movies had a great architect also). Look that up in Morals and Dogma by Albert Pike and The Secret Teachings of All Ages by Manly Hall.

Who is the ‘prince who is to come’ if Bergoglio, a.k.a. Francis, is merely a troop? The Antichrist (Maitreya) of course, who represents the Devil, the prince of this world (John 12:31, John 14:30, John 16:11) on earth as his “vicar” since the Devil apes God. Bergoglio is the most senior troop, that is the False Prophet, the second beast of Revelation 13:11-15, while the Antichrist is the first beast. It can also be said that Bergoglio is a troop of the prince of this world given that he speaks as a dragon (Revelation 13:11).

Make no mistake, Rome will also literally be destroyed by communists as revived-red Russia will conquer Italy and Europe. The prophecies of destruction and martyrdom of the ‘bishop in white’ within the third secret of Fatima refer to Pope Benedict XVI and Rome.

‘Its end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war.’ The flood symbolism is also described in Revelation 12:15, in which a flood of evil is unleashed on this world by the Devil and his minions. War is not only literal, i.e. WW3, but more importantly is spiritual, as the forces of darkness try to conquer for forces of Light, that is true Christians, as the Devil (dragon) “went to make war with the rest of [the Woman’s] seed, who keep the commandments of God” (Revelation 12:17). We know the end of the story, that Jesus wins at His Second Coming, but the battle will be bloody with many casualties.

‘Desolations are decreed’ refers not only to the physical desolations in the destruction of churches and the infrastructure to provide the faithful with sacraments as communists and Muslims do already, but the worst desolation possible, the Abomination of Desolation (Daniel 9:27, Daniel 11:31, Daniel 12:11), in which the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be made invalid by the apparent “Pope” Francis. For 1290 days (43 months), the Mass will be replaced by a devilish worship service to ape the Mass. “Others will be asked to accept a new type of ceremony, which will replace the Mass and the Presence of My Holy Eucharist. It will be deemed as an all-inclusive move to join all Christians and other religions as one. This will be the beginning of the end” (source). The loss of grace for the earth will be catastrophic, as only the underground remnant clergy (like this author) will provide valid sacraments in basements and barns when possible. Thus evil is given even greater power for a time. Today, approximately 400,000 Masses are offered every day as each priest should say one. As St. Padre Pio said “it is easier for the earth to exist without the sun than without the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass!”

In conclusion, pray for perseverance as “he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13).
